Standards are high, but crewing with Kompass Marine Services at any level is a rewarding experience. Successful applicants who are placed on a delivery passage have all their airfares, overseas travel and subsistence paid. Those applicants who are looking to work full- or part time, during study break or to progress their professional maritime career to a higher level (possibly as a professional yacht delivery skipper) may also be interested in the Kompass Marine Offshore Sailing Programme.

You MUST be fit. Jobs for support/boat service engine service/washing/polishing/teak deck/antifouling jobs without leading a team are paid per hour/work. The next step is being a "Kompass Marine Services Team Leader/Marina Supervisor". You will lead your team in a Marina of our choice with the option to take over the whole business as a franchise taker. No money required to take over. 

What ever job role you want to fulfil at Kompass Marine Service, we can help you with accommodation here in Norway around the Oslo/Son area. Food and accommodation must be paid by yourself. You might have the option to live and stay in one of our sailing boats if we have space left (and you want to safe money for a "normal" flat/accommodation which is much cheaper around 4000.- kr/month). Depending on your job role, you will get a company car as well as company phone plus many other benefits - to be discussed further when contacting us. For details please contact us at any time - ideally via phone. You can also apply without any maritime background but being flexible, willing to work hard, travelling at short notice, physically in top shape and highly motivated is a must. If you have your own or/and car driving license it is a big benefit as some of our boats are lying in very tranquil locations, but a bit outside of town life.
