To gain the best possible results it is a mandatory that Propspeed is to be applied by a trained applicator. Please contact Kompass Marine Services for a list of the applicators in your area. How to become an official PropSpeed Applicator? The process is divided into three simple stages and is oriented towards professionals with a solid background in marine paints.
1. Get in touch with us
Please send us a email including your company contact details and relevent details of your background and experience in marine product application. You can of course also call us at any time.
2. Training
Courses are offered in various regions over Norway or can be held directly with us or one of our certified trainers. It is important to organise the course in advance as often it is necessary for us to travel some distance. For this reason at least two months notice should usually be given. The course is free but requires scupulous attention as those applicators who are unable to apply PropSpeed with the correct standards will not be allowed to apply it.
3. Certification
The company details of the new applicators are kept on our database together with the ports of operation where you will be registered as an official PropSpeed applicator. All clients within your area will be directed to you if they need PropSpeed.
Follow up Process
Every applicator has an important part to play in the representation of PropSpeed in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. For this reason we closely monitor the results of each applicator. We also maintain regular communication with applicators in order to learn from their experience in operating in different conditions and on different boats. Sometimes we give refresher courses for applicators who are taking on a very different type of boat or are having difficulty.
